About the Book
The current corporate model of church leadership, which replaces older leaders with younger ones, is inconsistent with New Testament principles. The New Testament views leadership as ongoing, familial, and relational. Leaders like Paul, Peter, and others never retired.
They remained fathers.

About the Author
Samuel Kisten is the Senior Pastor of the Vineyard Church in Chatsworth, Durban, which he planted in 1980.
He has also served on the Vineyard National Leadership Team in SA for more than 40 years.
In addition to helping establish local churches, he has led a church-planting movement in Mozambique, which has grown to more than 60 churches. Currently, he leads the Church Planting ministry for Vineyard in SA. His ministry focuses primarily on raising and mentoring leaders.
Samuel has been married to Rani for 49 years (2025) and has two adult sons and a granddaughter.
Samuel holds a Doctor of Theology degree from VIU-CA.
